Bellville Health Ministries is one of most active departments and they invite all our church members to become involved by experiencing a healthier lifestyle.
May Meatless Mondays Challenge - The congregation has been challenged to take part in this initiative for the month of May. Feel free to share with us what you have been doing to stay away from Meat.
16 May | World Hypertension Day - An afternoon programme is scheduled at 4PM for Hypertension and Natural Remedies that will be presented by Sr Charlene Pieterse.
17 May | Walking Club - If weather permits, join us for a 5km walk and calorie burning exercises at 8AM at the Danie Uys Park opposite DF Malan High School. -
The first Ambassador Bible Conference will be held at Ravensmead SDA Church. Youth are encouraged to join and meet youth from all over the peninsula. Click here to view the poster for more information. -
Sabbath 18 April at 16h00: The Bellville Health Department will be hosting a health program with Niclole Koning (Food Technologist) who will present "How to read labels for better nutrition" followed by a healthy cooking demonstration by Rachel Lewis on smoothies, lunch and desserts.
Sundy 19 April at 9h00: A family 6km fitness challenge for FREE (kids can bring bicycles along), at Dirk Uys Park, opposite DF Malan High School. A fitness trainer will present proper stretching techniques and core exercises for strength.
Come and join us for a healthy weekend. All welcome! -

There will be Pathfinder & Adventurer classes from 3-4pm this Sabbath (11 April). Take note of the following upcoming events:
Sabbath 18 April: Games Evening (Fundraising Event) at 19h00 in the Church Hall. There will be various games to play, ranging from 30 seconds, dominoes, face painting, a minute to win it, ect. Each game will cost only R5. There are prizes to be won and raffles. Food will be on sale (Rotis and curry, pancakes, doughnuts, etc.) All church members to please come and support the effort.

The Health Department will have a Morning Fitness event on Sunday 19 April at Dirk Uys/Jack Miller Park in Boston Bellville (opposite DF Malan High School).

Dear friends, we are kindly requesting that you bring non perishable foodstuff (tinned food etc.), blankets and clothes to the Olympiad at Vygieskraal Stadium in Athlone on Sunday, 8 March.This will be collected and delivered to the Lakeside fire department in aid of those affected by the fires that are currently raging around Cape Town.

There will be Adventurer classes at 3pm this Sabbath (7 March). There will be no Pathfinder classes this Sabbath, as they will join Personal Ministries. Adventurers to bring a book, pencil and their homework along. Pathfinders to complete their homework for the 14th of March and drill practice for 15th March. Homework: know the pathfinder pledge and law, the old testament, charity research.

When parked on church grounds, we ask that you kindly adhere to the requests and directions provided by the deacons on duty. We also request that when you park in the road, that you do so respectfully without blocking drive-ways of our neighbours. We trust we have your full support. -

Pathfinders will resume their classes from 3pm - 4pm on Sabbath 28 February 2015. Pathfinders are reminded to come with their neckerchief, a book and a pen/pencil. Parents are welcome.
On Sunday, 1 March, Drilling and Fitness will take place at church from 9am to 11am.
On Sabbath 7 March, the Pathfinder Club will join the Personal Ministries for the activities planned for the day. -
The Cape Conference will conduct their 5th International Institute of Christian Ministries (IICM) Training for this year. All persons interested to receive IICM Certification in any specialisation area are welcome to attend.

This is a kind reminder that the registration deadline for RAYS in Cape Town which is scheduled for 6-8 February 2015 is Monday, 26 January at 11:00 in the morning. Kindly note that we will not be able to accommodate any late registrations.
For those who'll be attending RAYS next week at Helderberg College please note that check in begins at 18:30 on Friday evening and the opening ceremony will start at 19:30 sharp. Also note that no sleeping arrangements have been made. Also remember that registration for the Adventurer Swimming Gala and the AY/Ambassador/Pathfinder olympiad will take place at RAYS on Sunday, 8 February.
