The Bellville Junior Sabbath School is ending off their fabulous Children's Day on the 29th of November 2014 at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. We will leave immediately after the church service and have our lunch at the gardens and spent there the rest of the afternoon. We would like you the parent(s), guardian and/or family member to join us. Please confirm by using the reply slip provided. Entry fee for Adults is R50, children 6-17yrs is R10 and children under 6yrs is FREE. Reply slips and monies must be submitted before or by the latest 1 November 2014. The Good Hope High School, Good Hope and Riverside Primary Schools, will be celebrating the 85th year of Adventist Education in the Western Cape from the 31st October to the 2nd November this year.
We have invited a very well-known alumnus, at present in pastoral and administrative ministry in the USA, as our guest speaker. He will be presenting a variety of interesting programmes in our area, culminating with the divine service on the Sabbath Alumni Day on the Good Hope Campus. There will also be a day of games and eats at the school on Sunday the 2nd.

Sabbath 25 October has been set aside as Pastoral Appreciation Day on the SAU calendar of events. Elders and churches are therefore requested and encouraged to do something special for this band of workers who are at the forefront of the spiritual care of our churches. Helderberg College is planing a youth event that includes Music, Mime, a Prayer Session, Testimonies, Skit and Fellowship. Refreshments and youth interaction will take place in the gym afterwards. The invitation is open to all Adventist youth and friends to come and support this quarterly youth fellowship event.

Our dear brother in Christ, Xavier, will be laid to rest on Sunday 12 October The service will take place the Bellville SDA Church. Viewing will start at 8h00 and the Funeral Service at 9h00. We invite our members to come and support the family and to lift them up in prayers for comfort during this difficult time.

The Cape Conference Camp Meeting 2015 will be held at the SDA Youth Camp, Hartenbos River Resort, Mossel Bay during the easter weekend of 16-19 April 2015. This will be the first Camp Meeting with Western, Northern and Southern Cape regions combined. Will you be part of this Revival and Traditional Event? Save up and plan to be there! The AWM annual Week of Prayer starts Sun 18 August – Sabbath 24 August 2013. You are invited to join and share in the blessings each night as the hearts of our Adventist women cry out to God: “Revive Me Lord!” We request that the whole church will pray with us for the success of the AWM WOP as various women prepare to speak on behalf of God. Above all, August month is “Month of the Woman,” remember ALL women – their needs and their families - in prayer to God and support worthy causes on behalf of our women in South Africa
