Church Key Policy

This is an Addendum to the Church Facility Use Policy

This policy applies to all Key Holders including Alarm Control codes regarding access to the Bellville Church Facilities. It also remains the responsibility of the Church Board to carefully monitor the application of the Key Policy.

All Key Holders agrees to abide by the Rules/Conditions set out in the Key Policy stated below.

1. Four (4) sets of Keys and Alarm Codes will be allocated based on specific positions listed below.
        1.1 Co-ordinating Elder (ie Head Elder)
        2.2 Head Deacon
        2.3 Head Deaconess
        2.4 A church member living closeby to assist with opening procedures and emergency situations.
2. Each Key Holder to be allocated their individual Alarm Code for the purpose of identifying when discripencies arise.
3. Key Holders to be available in granting access to all approved church events, meetings of ministries/church affiliated organisations and departments.
